Savvy Lipstick in Satin Sheets Review

I got this Savvy Lipstick #885 Satin Sheets from my sister in-law in Canada last Sunday. Shoutouts to Ate Sharon, thank you again.  She actually sent me four different lipsticks and I promise to do a review of the other three here soon. So the picture below shows the packaging and the color of the lipstick. If you will notice the lipstick had moistened a bit, it could be because our weather here in the Philippines is warmer than in Canada. It comes in a black, gold and transparent plastic container on the top that let's you see the color of the lipstick right away upon purchasing.

I tried to use it yesterday when I went out to accompany my mama to my sister's couturier and then I took pictures of myself when I got home, you will see the pictures below. The lipstick comes in a very rich  maroon shade, it has a glossy finish and it gives the lips a texture which makes it look full and pouty.

The lipstick stays on the lips for hours and a very minimal retouch is only needed when you eat. This lipstick shade gives a sophisticated and alluring aura on the face. Best worn for corporate affairs, evening events, formal parties and even night out. It defines the shape of the lips making it very prominent without the need for a lip liner.

This lipstick is so creamy and it moisturizes the lips so no need to apply lip gloss. The lipstick net weight is .12 oz., typical weight for a lipstick. One thing that didn't impressed me much is the scent which I know matters to some. The scent smells like the old school makeups and lipsticks (if you know what I mean), it doesn't have that modern fruity, flowery or yummy scent. Although the scent is tolerable and isn't stinky at all.

I apologize that I can't give you an idea about the cost of this lipstick as it was a gift to me. I am not aware too if there are Savvy lipsticks that can be bought locally or maybe you can order from US online shops.

To sum it up, I give it a rating of  ★★★★☆ stars. I like the lipstick and I'm happy to have one like this.

Thank you so much for your time and see you on my next lipstick review. Umwuaah! :-*
