Last night was the concert of my ultimate band idol Maroon 5 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. I really felt bad that I wasn't able to make it to the concert. I've been feeling depressed for the past 2 months every time I would think of my hopeless situation. I super duper love them and I am willing to do everything just to see them but as I've mentioned in my previous post, I wasn't fortunate to get tickets for the concert as it was sold out in less than a week. Now I know that next time I should buy tickets on the 1st day of selling because there are lots of Marooners in the Philippines. I even joined MYX Philippines contest to win tickets, but I guess I'm just not the lucky one or maybe it's not really meant this time.
Yesterday I started my morning listening to all their songs on my iPod while I was doing my chores. Funny I was like doing it as my tribute to them. And then last night simultaneous to their concert in Manila I also watched their Overexposed concert in Sao Paulo which was uploaded on Youtube, and found out this morning that they had the same set list.

Somehow I felt like I was watching them live, you know the "it's all in the mind" thingy..:-) I am just not sure if Adam did the drums for the Seven Nations Army last night because based from what I read this morning Adam and James both did on the vocals. I also saw pictures of the estimated over 15,000+ jam packed crowd, a proof of how well loved they are by many Filipino fans. You know what, Maroon 5 is not just about Moves Like Jagger, Payphone, Won't Go Home Without You, This Love, She Will Be Loved and Stereo Hearts. If you aren't a fan yet, well try listening to their other songs and you'll understand why they are no.1 in the hearts of many or you might end up loving all their songs too coz they are amazingly beautiful just like their hearts. Their advocacy against cancer made them help a lot of cancer patients from around the world, that I think is why they are blessed.
Adam tweeted yesterday "Good morning Manila! home of the most energetic, enthusiastic @maroon5 fans on earth! #OVEREXPOSEDWORLDTOUR!!!" makes me proud to be a Filipino. He also said in an interview that they will try to be back in the Philippines soon, which gives me more hope to see them. Early this morning I saw on MYX Daily top 10 video clips from last night and a short interview with James Valentine the lead guitarist where he said that their band is planning to do a 2 night show when they come back. I believe I wasn't able to watch the whole segment so I'm sure to catch the replay later at 12nn.
Now, I'm slowly recovering from the sadness and depression, after all I know that they're coming back. And I know that I always have them in my heart and their music in my soul. Oh yeah! ;-)
