Ever Bilena Advance BB Cream Review

Hi ladies, it's been a while but I'm glad that I am sharing something new again to you. Well, I finally bought my very first BB Cream. It's an Ever Bilena Advance BB Cream -Whitening (Oriental), which I got from Watsons and I can say that I am totally happy with it. So this is how it looks like.

Actually, there are two (2) variants available, the Whitening that is in a Purple tube and the Anti-wrinkle that is in a Pink tube. The two are of different shades. The Whitening variant has yellow undertone and the Anti-wrinkle has pink undertone. So I bought myself the Whitening one since it's the closest to my skin tone and I don't think I need the Anti-wrinkle, I'm too young for it. LoL

Before, I am not really a fan of BB Creams because I don't understand the purpose of it. I mean, yes it is literally a blemish balm cream but since there are foundations, makeup primers and concealers I didn't see the need for a BB Cream and considering that they are expensive too. But last week  Ever Bilena Advance BB Cream caught my attention. I believe that this one's way cheaper than any other BB Creams sold in the country. You can get a 50 ml. tube for only Php 195.00. Amazing right? Most BB Creams would range from Php 400 to a thousand. So this one's a really great haul. Unbelievable? Below is the proof ladies.

EB Advance BB Cream is a whitening, foundation and moisturizing cream in one.  On the label it says that "it provides flawless coverage while concealing blemishes and  dark spots and it gives protection from the sun's harmful rays". For that, I agree with the flawless coverage though it just gives medium coverage. There is a need to apply for a second coating to achieve full coverage. I applied the BB Cream on the left side of my face (w/ red lippie) and leaving the right side (w/ nude lippie) bare for you to see the difference.

What I love with this BB Cream is that it deeply moisturizes my skin. The color suits my skin tone, it stays  long in the skin, I can wear it all day and it is very affordable. What I am not so happy with is the scent but it's okay, it's tolerable anyway the scent doesn't stay strong for long. It is very smooth and soft on the skin, yet the natural finish is sticky and a bit shiny so you have to use a really good setting powder to achieve a non-sticky and shine-free finish. The BB Cream made me look fresh and it appears to give a more natural look compared to when using foundation and concealer. It doesn't cake even without retouching.

I give this BB Cream a rating of 4.5. Taking away .5 for the not so good scent. But to top it all, I recommend this product. I can say that it is one of the best product Ever Bilena has came up with. A proud Philippine made. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. See you next time ladies!
